Childhood obesity is a real problem in America, each year more kids are getting obese and increasing the risks of early illness like diabetes. Overweight children has more than doubled since 1971 and continues to grow in America.

Is has come to the point that obesity in United States its an epidemic that our children are getting since very early ages. What life can our children expect if they are obese since child, will they have to fight obesity all their life?

Its time to wake up and not accept what the media is telling us time and time again on television and mass media. Your kids are exposed to thousands of Ads every day, from companies that carefully study the psychology of your children so they want to buy more of their products.

The problem with junk food and fast food is not just that is unhealthy for our body, but that they actually have chemicals and a little of poison that heart our brains and bodies. This is reality, in fact most processed and junk food that buy has some taste additives like aspartame and MSG that make your body be addicted to a product taste.

When your child take those junk foods they are not just poisoning their bodies and acquiring fat, but their brains too. Some of those chemical artificial substances go directly to the brain and stimulates it so you want to eat more and cells of your brain die. The consequences are seen later in your life with diseases like cancer and brain diseases.

Now, what are you going to do for your kids health? you need to buy food with nutrients and vitamins, mostly natural food that the body can digest without problem. Encourage your kids to do physical exercises instead of watching tv and let them play sports with their friends.

Its not easy to change your lifestyle and your child lifestyle, but if you begin by giving the example he will follow. Dont risk the health of your child, if your kid is already obese, go with a nutritionist and ask for a diet plan.
