Fast Food Causing Childhood Obesity

Have you think for a minute why fast food is not good for your health? why fast food causes childhood obesity? and why fast food can cause you diseases? Those are some questions that we should all ask ourselves, its not coincidence that our children are getting more overweight.

As technology has emerge and globalization has expanded, hundreds of fast food chains have been created to feel the need of the speed of life that most of us have. The problem is that speed is not always the best for our health. Fast food companies create quick food unhealthy ingredients, the result are hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries and thousands of other fast food products in todays market.

Those fast food companies invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising in television, radio, magazines, newspapers and everywhere you go, to you and your children want to buy their products. However, acquiring fast food as a lifestyle is risking the health and life of many people and children all over the world.

Fast food companies dont care about your health, they just want to make quick food that you and your children will like because it tastes good and therefore they will have a good return on investment. However, most of that food is made from fat, sugars and chemicals that have no nutrients and little or no vitamins.

If your child eat every day a some fast food like a burger instead of fruits or something made in house, he will be obese in one year guarantee. But the worst part is that he will be on his way to acquiring other diseases like diabetes type 2.

But it doesent end there, most processed food, especially fast food, have taste additives so the food can taste better and people become addictive to their food. The problem is that those additives are not completely safe, because they are not natural and cause brain damage, mental diseases and cancer.

One very known additive used in a lot of food is aspartame and now is known to be not just unhealthy but dangerous for your health, especially your children. I could tell you about other additives that are very dangerous, but the point is that processed food like fast food and other unnatural food are dangerous not just because our child will become obese, but because is poisoning them little by little and a child is more sensitive than an adult.

Dont take your child to eat Fast Food, avoid the the most you can.

Encourage your child to practice Sports and Take him with his friends to play

Avoid eating too much Sugar, if you child eats too much sugar or junk foods and watchs TV all day, he will get obese.
